My Journey

I have been a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist for over two years now. I began my journey within the social services field in 2014 at the local youth shelter in Orangeville, Ontario working as both a Case Manager and Transitional Housing Manager. More recently, before deciding to go out on my own and begin my private practice, I was a Clinical Therapist at a privatized rehab facility - Simcoe Addictions and Mental Health (SAMH) - located in Cookstown, Ontario. I graduated from my Master's of Social Work Program at the University of Windsor in early 2020. This degree has allowed me the opportunity to realize my dream career; guiding those who seek a pathway through their struggles by way of therapy. My true passion is working alongside, as well as guiding, my clients while they navigate through their struggles in all facets of their mental health. Areas of speciality include; depression, anxiety, ADHD, and managing certain personality disorders including (but not limited to) borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and social anxiety. Other areas of focus include professional and/or workplace struggles/development including (but not limited to); procrastination, motivation, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism. My goal is to work with my clients towards recognizing and understanding exactly what is hindering their personal growth and acting as a barrier against success. I am truly looking forward to helping those that seek help to set, strive for, and exceed their personal and career-related goals.
